Motorcycle travel insurance is designed for trips where riding is part of the plan, not just a way to get from A to B.
Standard travel insurance may be enough for city breaks and beach escapes, but motorcycling holidays come with different risks. Whether you're tackling off-road terrain, riding through Europe, or testing your limits on a track day, our motorcycling travel insurance gives you the kind of protection you actually need for motorcycle-based adventures.
It's time for a policy that's designed to keep up.

Destination Insight
These policies are built to go beyond the usual cover. From delays and breakdowns to lost kit and injuries on the track, we've thought about the things that can throw a spanner in the works while you're on a motorbike.
This can all be found in the ActivitySure Policy Wording.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
It's not just about medical cover. Motorcycling travel insurance can also help if your plans are disrupted while you're on the road. Depending on your policy, you may be covered if your motorcycle can't be used or if the only qualified rider is unable to continue. Some policies also include cover for lost, stolen or damaged motorcycle clothing, and certain situations linked to track days or organised events. It's all about giving you extra support when your ride doesn't go to plan.
Yes, engine size and the type of riding can both affect what’s covered. For example, as standard, both on- and off-road motorcycling are included for up to 250cc.
If you’re planning to ride a bike with a larger capacity, or take part in something more specialised like enduro or track day events, you may need to add this as an activity when you buy your policy.
You’ll need a valid UK licence that allows you to ride the type and capacity of motorcycle you intend to use.
Some countries might also require an International Driving Permit or Green Card, so it’s worth checking local rules before you travel. As long as you meet the legal requirements for the country you’re in, your cover can apply.
Your cover depends on the destination you choose when you buy your policy. ActivitySure policies are split into regions like Europe or Worldwide, and you’ll be covered within the area shown on your policy schedule.
If you’re travelling outside that area, your policy won’t apply - so it’s important to choose the right region when setting up your cover.
Your motorcycle gear, such as helmets, gloves and protective clothing, can be covered if they’re lost, stolen or damaged during your trip. There are limits per item, as well as an overall limit, and wear and tear may be taken into account when settling a claim.
This policy doesn’t cover the motorcycle itself, or any repair or replacement costs for the bike.
To make sure you’re covered, your chosen activity must be shown on your policy certificate.
Provided this is the case, you can be covered for emergency medical treatment abroad. This includes hospital care, help from the emergency assistance team, and repatriation if medically necessary.
Personal liability cover is included on an ActivitySure policy, but it doesn’t apply to incidents involving a motorcycle or any other mechanically propelled vehicle.
This means you won’t be covered for injury to other people or damage to property while riding, so separate motor insurance would be needed for that type of cover.
